How to choose a topic for your presentation.

How to choose a topic for your presentation. 

We always advise our students to choose a topic that is specific,and avoid general topics.  For example, do not talk about sports in general, but you can pick a particular sport, or a particular team in that sport and talk about.You can even pick  a particular player on that team and you can give the presentation on that player. 

     Also, when you're choosing a topic, you can brainstorm for a few minutes to help you figure out, the right topic for you.  Narrow down your topic, so that it won't be big or general. We also advise students to avoid  controversial issues in the presentation. The whole purpose behind the presentation is to see how well you can speak English, and how well  you prepare for the presentation. Choose something interesting, something you like, a hobby or a something in your own field of study.
